Philips Alessi Toaster HD2000

In the period from 1992 till 1994, Alessandro Mendini, Stefano Marzano as the head of design at Philips, Alberto Alessi as the CEO of Alessi, together with other designers, developed a new design language for a series of kitchen appliance. The series at first consisted out of a toaster, a water-boiler, a coffee maker and a citrus-press. Later on the blender was added to this series with a new design-statement.
