Philips Alessi workshop

When Philips introduced the latest home appliances in the Alessi line in October 1994 in the Groninger Museum, the company announced a 'trendsetters in the field of kitchen appliances.

The Philips Alessi workshop appliances product line was the result of a colleboration between the Italian designer Alesandro Mendini, creative director at Philips Stefano Marzano and Aleberto Alessi. Designers Benny Leong, Seiya Otha en Roger Swales were respomcible for the executional designs of four of the products in the line. They got awarded in Amsterdam with the Kho Liang Ie prize for their designs in the Philips-Alessi line.
