In 1980 Radboud van Beekum  designed the FM60 cube chair, which was launched on the market a year later in 1981 in collaboration with Pastoe . The Pastoe FM60 than already had earned the prestigious award for best furniture design at the 1980 Triennale  of Furniture Design in Poznan.
